Optimize the charging of your electric vehicle or wallbox based on the current state of charge of your home battery.
1. Switch-on threshold:
- When does the charging session start? As soon as the state of charge (SoC) of your home battery reaches the percentage you have defined, your car or wallbox is automatically switched on and the charging session begins.
2. Switch-off threshold:
- When does the charging session stop? The charging session is terminated as soon as the SoC of your home battery falls below the percentage you have defined.
- Additional charging with reduced power: Until this SoC value is reached, we continue to charge your vehicle gently at 1 phase - 10 amperes or 3 phases - 6 amperes (depending on the current number of phases). If your minimum charging power is higher, this amperage will be set.
Practical application example:
- Your home battery is still too full in the morning: Suppose your home battery still has an SoC of 50% in the morning, but you want to reduce it to 20% to store new solar power during the day.
- Combine schedule and battery storage plan: Create a schedule that starts at 6 a.m., for example, and link it to a battery storage plan. Set the switch-on threshold to 25% and the switch-off threshold to 20%.
- Intelligent charging: The charging session starts automatically as soon as the battery storage has more than 25% charge and stops when it falls to 20%. This allows you to make optimal use of your stored electricity and make room for new solar power.
Smart mode must be activated for this feature.
In the event of PV surplus, the device will also be switched on below the set switch-off threshold for self-consumption optimization.
