Do you have a balcony power plant and want to know how much electricity it produces? Here are two simple methods to visualize the production of your balcony power plant:
Option 1: Integration with an existing meter
If you have already integrated another meter, such as a reading head for an electricity meter, an inverter, or battery storage, you can add this device as a switch and configure it as a power generator in the settings. With our app, you can then display the production of your balcony power plant alongside the values from your main electricity meter.
Option 2: Direct recording without an additional meter
If you do not yet have another meter, you can add the plug of your balcony power plant directly. In this case, your balcony power plant is recorded and the grid feed-in is displayed. With additional switches such as the Shelly Plus Plug S, you can control your loads or use other functions. For example, you could set up a lamp that turns on when you are producing a certain amount of electricity.
With these methods, you can always keep track of your balcony power plant's electricity production and use your energy efficiently.
